July 2016 Prayer Letter

July 2016

Dear Friends,

Greetings in Our Lords precious name.

We thank God for you and your faithfulness in praying and in your practical support.

SUMMER MINISTRY IS OVER AND RESULTS ARE IN

An outreach meeting in Punjab

Thousands were saved as many new areas were reached. The summer ministry is over; the men & women are back from the field with new commitment and excitement for what the Lord has done.

Over 2,000 have been baptized within the last four months. Thank God for new and open doors for the Gospel.

New church meeting in a school building

A dozen new churches are planted in many other parts of India and much follow up work is ongoing.

NEW CHURCHES NEAR BANGLADESH BORDER

We were able to plant two new churches near Bangladesh boarder villages in order to send the gospel to Bangladesh.

BANK LOAN NECESSARY TO BRING HOME THE GOSPEL TEAMS

Thank you dear ones, those who specially supported for the outreach ministries, we received 60% of the total needs but had to borrow the balance just to get the teams home.

  • As a result, we still need nearly $28,000 to pay back the bank loan.

The school ministry in Manipur State was blessed with a great young people’s camp meeting.

We thank God for 40 youngsters who came to know the Lord.

THE COLLEGES WILL SOON BE OPEN

The Bible College and Seminary in Trivandrum is reopening by the 18th of July, the college in Punjab on the  4th of August and the college in Chatheisegargh on September 2nd.

  • We need funding for college office supplies, a couple computers, some furniture, a couple of water tanks and a few other urgent and unavoidable things such as a pump set.

We are still praying to construct a couple rooms in Punjab. Need much prayer and support.

FINANCIAL STRUGGLES

Within the last four months we have faced some serious financial struggles just to maintain all the outreach ministries, maintenance of the college, building projects and medical expenses for a couple of pastor’s health needs as I mentioned in our past letter.

We struggle but are placing it into the Hand of Him who is able.

THE CHILDREN’S HOMES UPDATE

The Children’s home ministries are going well; they are back in the school and all are passed to the higher classes with good grades.

This is also pressuring us because of the need for new uniforms, text books and other necessary items for these children. Those in high school need a couple of computers in different homes.

NEED MUCH PRAYER AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR THE ABUSED GIRL’S HOME

We don’t know how long we will be able to keep the girl’s home in the north. It’s a rented facility that the owner wants to sell. It’s a good building in a secure area.

The man was offered was nearly $190,000 for the home but this man has sympathy for the girls and has offered it to us for only about $145,000.

Plus we can have our church service on the top floor, which will be a blessing because there is no need for another building for church worship and even for our extension school.

The landlord gave us until August 15th to make a commitment on the property. If we can’t, we must vacate and have no facilities for the girls.

This is an urgent need.

UPDATE ON SARAH’S HEALTH

Sarah is on medication with the help of one of our daughters; continue to pray for her need to have our insurance, which we never took before, pray that the Lord may grant the same.

Regards,
